Today’s news from around the Web:

  • As Blackberry struggled, Apple released iOS 5. While reviews from tech writers seem to mostly be positive, some users don’t seem too convinced. According to Mashable, there are 10 reasons you should try it. [Mashable]
  • New Two and a Half men star Ashton Kutcher’s alleged mistress, Sara Leal, revealed the details of their one-night stand to US Weekly. Apparently, Kutcher told the 22-year-old administrative assistant that he and wife Demi Moore were separated. [US Weekly]
  • Jason Wu gave a viewing of his Target collaboration to industry insiders today. Everyone present is contractually obligated to stay mum about it, but we don’t need details to know that it’s going to fly off the shelves just like the department store’s Missoni collaboration. [Refinery29]
  • In an attempt to capitalize on all the buzz around Mui Mui’s glitter booties, Steven Madden created a similar version. The Steve Madden shoe lacks some of the charm of Mui Mui’s, opting for a simple t-strap with no contrasting trim, but is considerably cheaper. [The Gloss]
