5 Celebs with Gorgeous Beauty Looks
We’ve all seen those celebrity beauty blunders, but we don’t give enough credit to the stars who are always bringing it in the beauty department. Oftentimes, they can be celebrities you’ve seen a thousand times, but never really noticed.
Not only are we sharing five stars with flawless beauty looks but we’re also giving you tips on your to get their signature looks.
RITA ORA
Rita Ora may be a newcomer to the music scene, but there’s nothing amateur about her beauty look. Citing Gwen Stefani as an inspiration, Ora frequently rocks winged eyeliner, bright lip color and perfectly arched eyebrows, along with her fierce blond hair. To get her retro look, try COVERGIRL’s Burn 290 lip color (Drugstore.com, $5) and our winged eyeliner tutorial.
LANA DEL REY
Lana Del Rey’s been called the “Gangsta Nancy Sinatra” and we couldn’t agree more. She mixes retro-inspired hair and eye makeup with ‘90s flair. To get her signature waves, wrap a curling wand (try: Remington’s T Studio Pearl Ceramic Styling Wand, $30) around your hair horizontally and get it as close to your roots as possible; this will create volume. Pull the wand out horizontally to create waves that fall at your shoulder. For a tutorial on how to do it with rollers, check out this video.
BEYONCÉ
While her stage-performing alter ego Sasha Fierce prefers a more dramatic look, Beyoncé goes for something more natural in her everyday life. To get her lip color, try Revlon’s Super Lustrous lipgloss in Firecracker (Target.com, $7). For her understated eye makeup, use black eyeliner—starting thin at the inner lid and getting wider as you move outward—and shimmereyeshadow slightly lighter than your skin tone.
GINNIFER GOODWIN
Television’s Snow White doesn’t get the credit she deserves for always showing up with flawless makeup on the red carpet. True to the princess role she plays, Ginnifer Goodwin goes for the rosy-cheeked and wide-eyed look. For fairy tale beauty like Goodwin’s, use an pink cheek color, no matter your skin tone, with hints of gold in it to brighten your face. We suggest Mac’s powder blush (Nordstrom.com, $20). For wide eyes, use a concealer under your eyes that’s a shade or two lighter than your foundation and cover that using a powder in a lighter shade, which will prevent creasing.
KAT GRAHAM
The Vampire Diaries star isn’t afraid to make a huge statement on the red carpet. Kat Graham’s style could best be described at ‘90s drama, almost never going the understated route. Her signature beauty trick is extending eyeshadow to the inner corner of her eyes. To get the same effect, apply eyeshadow right above your lashline and in the inner corner of your eyes. We suggest going for a bold color, like Mac’s Goldenrod (Nordstrom.com, $22) or Electric Eel (Nordstrom.com, $15).
